WAFFEN SS FIELD TUNIC M40
The Waffen SS, after the campaigns of Poland and France, had a considerable numerical increase in the ranks of the Wehrmacht, thus finding themselves with the need to draw on Heer logistics to meet the demand for uniforms and equipment. Thus, for the beginning of the Barbarossa operation a very large part of the troops wore army production ’40 model jackets just like the model we used to be exhibited with the insignia of the Waffen SS.
The jacket is prepared with the assembly of embroidered eagle, SS insignia in the chosen grade and any further options available. The reproduction is a faithful copy of the originals which has the lining and the internal reinforcements in cotton, on the front and on the back four sets of three buttonholes to adjust the belt support hooks and the inside pocket for the bandage package.
Material: 70% wool 30% viscose.
The tailoring work for the application of the insignia requires a timeframe of approximately 3/5 working days from the moment of the order payment.
