TANK ASSOULT BADGE SILVER (Panzerkampfabzeichen)

 Excellent quality reproduction made of one of the materials that was often used for the minting of medals and badges the German silver, with the mold technique. The badge established from December 20, 1939 by Von Brauchitsch for the tanks unit of Wehrmacht, Waffen SS and police. According to the first rules of 1939, the silver class could be assigned to officers, NCO and troops in the role of tank commander, cannons, radio operators and drivers of the Panzertruppen.

 The criteria for the assignment, which will be modified during the war along with the electors, in 1940 were:

• having taken part in three assaults with the tank in three different days;




• being injured during an assault;




• have been awarded a decoration for courage in an attack.
