WW2 German Army tropical tunic M40 – Tropenbluse

TROPICAL TUNIC M40

 In force since 1941, the cut was very close to the M36 but with a fabric made of cotton such as hemp in officially color green olive. Four pockets with flap folds and pointed, metal buttons painted in olive green, with sleeves slit and two metal buttons to adjust the size, split on the back for easy movement and an open collar. The jacket is a faithful copy of the original, internally reinforced by cotton rough, on the right and left side there are two series of three holes to adjust the hooks to support the belt and the front is the pocket for the medication. The buttons are set through a system of metal hooks on the jacket.
